The prize is one (1) pair of Wayfarer sunglasses, approximate retail value £150 GBP (or local equivalent at time of purchase).
The prize is as described and no cash or other alternative will be offered. The prize is non-transferable. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the stated prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter's control.
The promotion is open to residents of the following countries who are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry:
Employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter, Amazon, and any agency directly connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
The promotion is open from 12 May 2026 at 00:01 GMT and closes at 7 June 2026 at 23:59 GMT.
Entries received outside this window will not be valid and will not be entered into the draw.
To enter via the purchase route, entrants must:
(a) Pre-order The Snack Monkey by Matt White on Amazon Kindle (any regional Amazon store) during the entry period.
(b) Take a screenshot of their Amazon order confirmation clearly showing their name, the title of the book, and the order number.
(c) Complete the entry form at therealsnackmonkey.com/preorder, uploading the screenshot as proof of purchase and providing their first name, last name, email address, Amazon order number, and country of residence.
Entries are limited to one per person. Duplicate entries (same email address or order number) will be removed from the draw.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter without making a purchase, send a handwritten or typed letter by post containing your full name, email address, country of residence, and the words "NO PURCHASE" to:
Postal entries must be received by 7 June 2026. One postal entry per person. Postal entries have equal chance of winning as purchase entries.
One winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received by the closing date. The draw will take place on or after 8 June 2026.
The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winner.
The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw date, using the email address provided at entry. If the winner does not respond to the notification within 14 days of the date it was sent, or if a winner is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement winner.
The Promoter may publish the winner's first name and country of residence on therealsnackmonkey.com and/or social media channels. Winners who do not wish to have their name published should notify the Promoter at the time of claiming their prize.
The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The prize must be accepted as offered.
The Promoter will arrange delivery of the prize to the winner's address. International shipping costs will be covered by the Promoter. The winner is responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import charges in their country of residence.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or disappointment suffered by the winner as a result of accepting the prize.
The Promoter will collect and process personal data (name, email address, country, order information) in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.
Personal data submitted as part of entry will be used solely for the purposes of administering the draw, verifying eligibility, notifying the winner, and fulfilling the prize.
Where an entrant has opted in to the Snack Pack mailing list, their name and email address will additionally be used to send marketing communications from therealsnackmonkey.com. Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Proof of purchase screenshots will be deleted securely within 90 days of the draw date. Entry data will be retained for no longer than 12 months after the draw for the purposes of resolving any disputes.
Entrants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by emailing matt@therealsnackmonkey.com.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who it has reasonable grounds to believe has:
(a) submitted a forged, altered, or otherwise fraudulent proof of purchase;
(b) made multiple entries using different email addresses or personal details;
(c) used automated, bulk entry, or any other method intended to circumvent the spirit of the promotion;
(d) otherwise acted in a manner that the Promoter reasonably considers to be contrary to the spirit of the promotion.
Disqualification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. No correspondence will be entered into regarding disqualification decisions.
These terms and conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.
